Hi, The X750 has power-patch management to avoid battery frequent charging & discharging, and PI will be powered by power adapter once power adapter is connected. so the X750 is suitable for permanent connection.

FYI, we will have a new model which called X728 has the same advanced power-patch management but also adds power loss detection, improved auto powering on, safe shutndown when battery low, RTC..etc.
