Overview

High-Current USB-C 16-Pin Breakout Board (5A Max) Simplify your Type-C integration with this durable, high-performance test socket board. Specifically upgraded to support up to 5A high-current input, this adapter is the perfect solution for power-heavy DIY projects, fast-charging applications, and reliable data testing.

Note: The headers are not pre-soldered and require DIY soldering.

Features

  • High-Current Optimized: Designed to handle up to 5A, with wide VBUS and GND traces for minimal heat and maximum stability in high-power DIY applications.
  • Double-sided PCB: The dual VBUS and GND design ensures support for high current. A single VBUS channel can support an output of 3A, while two VBUS channels can support up to 5A of current. (Note: Achieving 5A current requires both VBUS channels to be connected simultaneously.)
  • Dual 5.1kΩ Resistors (CC1/CC2): Integrated R1 and R2 pull-down resistors ensure your project is recognized as a power sink by any PD charger, enabling automatic 5V power output.
  • Simplified 4-Pin Interface: Breaks down the complex 16-pin connector into 4 easy-to-use headers (VBUS, D-, D+, GND) plus back-side access to CC1/CC2 for advanced testing.
  • Double-Sided Clear Silkscreen: High-visibility labeling on both sides (YG003 model) makes wiring fast and prevents polarity errors.
  • Plug & Play Durability: Features a reinforced metal Type-C shell and high-quality FR-4 PCB, built to withstand frequent plugging and unplugging in lab environments.
