  • 22:00, 13 April 2025 108.48.186.159 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (I have the X1203 connected properly with two new battery packs. qtx120xTerminal.py shows the battery charging properly - and reach 100%, but whenever I unplug the power supply the pi and x1203 immediately lose power. After I restart it shows the battery as if it were discharged, until it reaches 100% again. I have tried leaving the system charging over night. In the morning, the charging light had stopped blinking, but qtx12xTerminal.py reported the batter at 0% Now it shows: ==========...)

The note says the voltage range must be 3.00~4.10 VDC. I'm wondering if it's okay to set it to a lower voltage, like 2.8V. I'm not using a battery — it's powered directly with a 12V 3A adapter. ****************** Voltage: 4.20V Battery: 15% Battery Low ****************** Voltage: 4.20V Battery: 15% Battery Low ****************** Voltage: 4.20V Battery: 16% Batt...)

  • 18:39, 1 March 2025 221.150.87.68 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (When using the X1203 with only a power connection and no battery, it shuts down after a certain period as it is recognized as low power. However, this issue does not occur when the battery is connected. Could you help identify the cause?)
  • 11:51, 3 January 2025 Lisa talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (Hello:) Sorry, X1203 does not support changing the charging current via GPIO. we recommend that you replace the battery.)
  • 09:43, 3 January 2025 24.78.121.199 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (Hello :) The Samsung 35E 18650 spec sheet states that the maximum charging current is 2000 mA with a recommended charging current of 1700 mA. The x1203 wiki states the battery charging current will be 2.3-3.2 mA. Have you found this to be an issue in your testing? I was also wondering if you can explain more about "Battery charging control can be managed via GPIO". Thank you.)

  • 00:00, 24 November 2024 172.58.244.44 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (I can confirm that it will work with a 12 volt outlet in a car. I am typing this comment on my RPI5 8GB with the X1203 while plugged into a 12 volt outlet (13.8 volts). I first tested this on my 12 volt power supply (13.8 volt) that I use to power my 2 meter ham radio. Work Well! MJ)

  • 19:13, 15 August 2024 Lisa talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (Hi,LED lights do not support software settings. There is a learning process for the IC to read the power level, please try to fully charge and then discharge it a few times and it will remember the process.)
  • 10:18, 10 August 2024 175.116.49.141 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (yes. I want to adjust the voltage settings for the LED indicator lights so that they correspond to 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of the battery charge. Currently, even though the battery voltage is low, the battery indicator is incorrectly showing a higher charge level.)
  • 15:03, 5 August 2024 Lisa talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (Hi,do you mean that you want to change the LEDs(On-board LEDs indicate battery charging and discharging levels of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%)?)

  • 18:17, 2 August 2024 45.136.246.16 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (UPS X1203 works really well. All I need is for the batteries to start charging when the power is connected. Turn on/off X1203 only when the button is pressed. For example: your laptop doesn't turn on automatically when you decide to charge its battery. And I agree that the warranty will be cancelled (as you wrote).)
  • 10:19, 2 August 2024 Harry talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (Since there is an onboard switch, you don't have to disable the AUTO ON function. If you don't want AUTO ON, just press the switch to completely cut off the power. I really want to delete the description of how to disable the AUTO ON function of the other 3 products.)
  • 04:18, 2 August 2024 45.136.246.16 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (How to disable auto power on feature on X1203? On the X1200 board, the arrow points to a different resistor than on the X1201 and X1202 boards. Which resistor should be removed on the X1203 board?)
  • 17:49, 1 August 2024 Harry talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (The X1203 can provide a maximum output current of 5A. Please note that it has this capability, and the actual output current depends on your load.)
  • 12:09, 1 August 2024 75.67.134.121 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (Is the amperage of the 5V out xh 2.54 connectors the same 5A? Also, is this 5A only when connected to power? If it is not 5A when only running off of battery, how many amps will it produce from the 5V out connectors on just battery?)

  • 18:04, 20 July 2024 175.116.49.141 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1203 (I recently purchased two X1203 boards and one X1202 board for testing purposes. I'm encountering an issue with the X1203 boards - neither of them is being recognized via I2C. However, the X1202 board I bought is working fine and is detected without any problems. I've double-checked the connections and tried cleaning the GPIO pins, but the X1203 boards still aren't showing up when I run i2cdetect.)

For safety and longevity of the cells I would like them charged no higher than 3.75v - Is it possible for the user to make this change? Is it also possible to modify the minimum voltage before automatic shutdown is triggered? Is it possible to modify the maximum charge current? Control over all of these settings would not only allow for safer operation and longer battery lifespan but would also allow for the use of LiFePO4 cells which ar...)
