<p><b>New page</b></p><div>2nd board works flawless - first one didn't start up the Pi with jumpers on board and died in a little cloud of smoke after a few hours. 2nd one first tested without Pi as described works great and stable.<br />
Added a little alias at the end of bashrc :<br />

sudo nano ~/.bashrc<br />
alias fan='sudo python /home/pi/x735-v2.5/read_fan_speed.py'<br />
<br />
reboot<br />
<br />
and now a simple "fan" displays the fan speed:<br />

0 RPM<br />
1781 RPM<br />
