&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;Is there a safe way to shut down? I know the idea of a NAS is to he on 24/7 but sometimes you just need to turn it off. I use OMV on Debian and I tried sudo shutdown -r now and it goes the the shutdown process but the drives never power down even after 10 minutes.
