&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;On my x1202, driving GPIO16 high, the charging LED stops blinking (so the pogo pin is making contact with HW pin 36), but the actual charging doesn&amp;#039;t stop.&lt;br /&gt;

I have tried with the pin set as input with both &amp;quot;pull up&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;pull down&amp;quot;, and with the pin set as output and driving it high vs low. Pulled high or driven high, the CHG LED stops blinking, but ... battery volts continue increasing until ~4.15V.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Overall, I&amp;#039;m not sure if turning the charger on and off to zig-zag near a lower voltage is actually less hard on the batteries than hovering near 4.15V without the zig-zag. The former option puts cycles on the battery, while the latter doesn&amp;#039;t. So at this point I&amp;#039;m not really sure if I would use this CHG disable feature, but I&amp;#039;m still wondering if it can be made to work, in case I or anyone else needs it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
