  • 09:01, 25 June 2025 173.54.57.150 talk posted a new comment on X1201 (Attempt to reseat the ups. Make sure the pogo pins are aligned correctly with each pin. Can you tell me if when you tunr it on, the LED thats labled "PI5" is on. that shows if the pi is detected. It can be tricky to know if the pins are aligned correctly, make sure theres a good connection. If it doesnt sense a pi connected to it, it will turn off after a few seconds as stated on the wiki.)
  • 07:57, 25 June 2025 68.197.206.6 talk posted a new comment on X1201 (Hi, I have the X1201 connected to my Raspberry Pi 5. When I connect to USB-C, the Pi powers up. When I am not connected to USB-C, when I press the power button on the X1201, the LEDs on the X1201 show the batteries are fully charged and that the Pi is connected. The green Pi LED lights briefly, and then the Pi goes into standby mode with a red LED. I have not changed anything in the Pi setup - I'm using a stock install of the latest Pi OS. What should I do?)

  • 03:09, 25 June 2025 92.212.9.220 talk posted a new comment on X1001 (I have been running a WD SN770M for about 3-4 days on a somewhat idle Nextcloud install with it not crashing since I adjusted the bootloader settings with "dtparam=pciex1_gen=3,aspm=off". Is setting this alright or discouraged? If the latter, why?)
  • 18:14, 24 June 2025 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on X1009 (Hi, yes, you can power the RPi5 via Type C. because X1009 needs the V3.0V control of the RPi5,can not disconnect it all. You need to unplug the pins of PIN2 and PIN4 of expansion header (GPIO bridge connector) .)

  • 14:31, 24 June 2025 173.70.167.178 talk posted a new comment on X1009 (> Hello, does not support power X1009 via Type C of RPi5. Thanks for your answer, Lisa! So I need to disconnect GPIO bridge connector if I want to power PI and X1009 separately? As documentation says: Don't power the X1009 via DC powe jack and the Raspberry Pi5 via USB-C at the same time. Just power the X1009, and then the X1009 will power the Pi 5 via the GPIO.)
  • 23:12, 23 June 2025 195.224.89.36 talk posted a new comment on X1008 (Hi, the board doesn't power on by itself after connecting the supply, it requires pressing the button. Can it be made to power automatically? This would be a lot better in case of power outage when there is no one home.)

  • 05:13, 21 June 2025 173.70.167.178 talk posted a new comment on X1009 (Is it possible to power the Raspberry Pi 5 via a USB Type-C cable, while powering HDDs directly from an independent 12V power supply? In that case, will the Raspberry Pi 5 still be able to power the X1009 over GPIO — essentially in reverse? The DC 12V 5.5x2.1mm power input would not be used in this setup. If that is not possible, then I will need to use two 12V power supplies: - one 12V power supply for the X1009 (and Raspberry Pi 5) - another 12V power supply for the HDDs. The reason I'm...)
  • 10:08, 20 June 2025 173.54.57.150 talk posted a new comment on X1201 (Does the external power switch act as a full power switch? In context, if its unplugged, running off the 18650 batteries, will turning it on turn on the UPS also? and even the pi 5? Im asking because the PiSugar 2 Plus button acts as a soft power switch, which means making something like a cyberdeck would require 2 power buttons?)

"/dev/v4l-subdev2" needs to be changed to the CSI connected device found in the previous step, so in my case to "/dev/video0" The "PPS:Pay attention to the directory of your edid file" may be referring to where the EDID will be loaded to, rather then where the file is loaded from.)

With no reason the SSD isn't booting anymore. When I use a SSD USB adapter the Pi boots fine from SSD again, so it seems that the HAT is broken after 6 months. What could be the cause? How to avoid?)
  • 18:29, 3 June 2025 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on X1001 (Hello, 1/What brand of SSD are you using? Please refer to here:NVMe SSD boot with the Raspberry Pi 5 to troubleshoot the following issues first. 2/If it is confirmed that the problem is caused by insufficient power supply, you can use a 2pin cable with an XH2.54 connector to connect the RPi5 GPIO to the 5V IN port.)
  • 15:39, 1 June 2025 172.58.114.209 talk posted a new comment on X1001 (Hello, I bought Geekworm X1001 PCIe to M.2 HAT from Amazon. I find that after an hour or so of use, I am getting I/O errors in my Raspberry PI 5 in the ssh terminal and all the UI on the screen freezes and disappears/ fails to launch. You have mentioned that it is possible to provide the HAT with extra power via XH2.54 5V power connector on the HAT. Can you pls explain how I go about doing that? What cable to use to connect to it and where should I connect that other end to source the power?)
